The Czech Republic is a small country as it were bordering both Western and Eastern Europe. Indeed, the country exhibits features of both sides. Nature, climate and appearance of cities is very similar to Austria or Germany. However, the mentality of the people is more Eastern European. The living standard is somewhere in the middle. Therefore, the country is very interesting and convenient for tourism. It has a rich history, for many centuries the Czech land was part of the Austrian Empire and inherited numerous monuments from that time. Czech people are friendly which is also important for visitors. The tourist services in the Czech Republic are at a high level, while at a relatively affordable price.

Karlovy Vary is one of the most popular places for spa treatments as well as for leisure visits in Central Europe. It is situated in a mountain valley in northwestern Bohemia, about 300 km from Munich and can be reached by car in about 3 hours. Hot mineral water springs have made this place famous.
