Italian restaurant Osteria Italiana Munich Already at the first sight of the luxurious facade of the building which houses this restaurant, you understand that it is a very interesting historical sight. The Osteria Italiana restaurant is more than 100 years old, and its design has not changed much. By the way, this restaurant was one of Hitler’s favourite restaurants, but let’s skip the sad moments of history so that we do not lose appetite. The restaurant’s interior is furnished in a classical style. The customers especially like the so-called «Boxen» (boxes or partitions). There are wooden dividers between the boxes and the table in each box seats up to 6 people. This ensures some privacy if you come with a small company. All dishes are of the Italian cuisine and, of course, incredibly delicious. We can recommend the roast beef in salt crust. In addition, the wine carte is very expansive, you will find the most personalized wine for yourself.

Afghan restaurant Bamyan Narges

Address: Hans-Sachs-Strasse 3
Hours: Monday to Saturday noon – 1 am, Sunday 6 pm – 1 am
Reservations: tel. +49 89 23 888 878
Afghan restaurant Bamyan Narges In the Bamyan Narges restaurant you can try the best Afghan cuisine in Munich. It is located in one of the liveliest Munich’s quarters – Glockenbachviertel. The restaurant is nicely decorated, there is an incredible amount of tiny backlights, colorful cushions and dark wood furniture with gold trim. The entire interior creates a feeling of coziness and comfort.
The service is very welcoming and friendly. Before you order anything, the waiter gives you excellent information about ethnic and traditional dishes. We suggest that you try an Afghan-style pumpkin in sweet yogurt sauce – Yummy! We also like different vegetables baked in dough and potatoes in special cheese sauce with oriental spices.

French restaurant Chez Philippe

Address: Zehentbauernstrasse 20
Hours: Tuesday to Saturday 7 pm – 1 am
Reservations: tel. +49 89 18 922 233
AFrench restaurant Chez Philippe This restaurant is not very big, but exceptionally cozy. Pleasant French music, paintings by contemporary French artists and photographs of French movie actors – all these create an atmosphere as if you were in France. In addition to classic French dishes, such as fish soup, escargots and lamb with Provencal herbs, there are always surprises, i.e. dishes that are not listed in the carte. There is a good wine carte; the wines are not very expensive, but they are excellent matches to the meals. For those who want to really enjoy delicious French cuisine in Munich and spend a wonderful evening, Chez Philippe is in order.
